Private academic coaching that gets to the root of what's holding your student back. Real change that comes from within.
Schedule a ConsultationHamid is an exceptional tutor. He allowed my children to think for themselves and challenged their logic. Always on time. Always has a smile. And an extraordinary support system for me, the parent. It allowed the years of college prep and applications to not become battlegrounds at the dinner table. One of my children graduated from NYU and the other at USC. Their first choices.
My daughter went from a D in math to straight A's and was accepted into her top choice school. Hamid now works with my youngest who has 97%+ in every subject, is class president, and one of the top students at her school. The confidence she's built through academics has carried into everything. I don't know how to explain it, he just inspires her to be a good student and have fun at it. It is an investment in your child's future you will not regret.
As someone who struggled with learning disabilities, it was crucial to have a tutor who patiently helped me grasp core concepts. Hamid's tutoring instilled confidence and transformed my educational approach. Now a UC Berkeley graduate, I work in aerospace as a Program Manager at Starburst Aerospace. The techniques I learned from Hamid remain pivotal.
Thanks to Hamid's tutoring, I achieved a perfect 36 on the ACT, which played a key role in my admission to Georgia Tech. I graduated with Highest Honors in Mechanical Engineering and today I'm a Software Engineer at Oracle. I couldn't have done it without his guidance.
What a blessing Hamid has been to my son's educational journey. He earned A's across every math and science course from middle school through graduation. His test strategies raised my son's ACT score by 12 points, placing him in the top 2% nationwide. More than the grades, Hamid gave my son the confidence and discipline to hold himself to a higher standard.
We have worked with Hamid for over a decade. A unique talent for connecting with my sons on a personal level, fostering a supportive and motivating learning environment. A person of high integrity and character. He leads by example, instilling in my sons the values of hard work, perseverance, and a passion for learning.
I went from thinking I was "not a math person" to majoring in biomedical engineering at Tufts. Hamid didn't just teach me the material, he empowered me to believe I could learn anything I set my mind to. It's crazy what a great tutor will do.
Above and beyond doesn't even begin to describe it. More than a tutor, Hamid became a mentor and counselor for my boys in many aspects of their high school journey. They would not have achieved the success in their courses without him. We've sent last minute SOS texts and he would always make time, even outside his tutoring hours. He sincerely cares about your child's success.
Both of my sons scored 35 and 36 on the ACT with Hamid's help. My kids learned they could change how they tackled the exam and positively influence the outcome. Their scores gave them the opportunities we dreamed of as they were accepted to their top choice colleges. One graduated from the University of Michigan and is working his dream job as a sports writer. The other is at Northeastern with several job offers already lined up.
My family worked with Hamid throughout all of high school for everything from Geometry through Calculus, Biology, Chemistry, and ACT prep. I honestly never thought I was a math person but he changed that. I ended up getting a 34 on my ACT which I still can't believe. He's patient, he's fun to work with, and he actually makes you feel like you can do it.
From middle school through senior year, Hamid was there for me. I can wholeheartedly say I would not be in my current position without his help. He was not just my tutor but a fun and friendly mentor. I'm now at UCSB studying Economics, Mathematics, and Applied Psychology.
I am so lucky to have found Hamid. He understands how you think and meets you at your level. Now in medical school, I still use the techniques he taught me. I highly recommend him for any tutoring or mentorship needs. Absolutely fantastic.
I've never been STEM inclined, but after working with Hamid I went from struggling to consistently getting A's. He made lessons fun, engaging, and efficient. What truly differentiates Hamid from other tutors is that he actually cares. When I was anxious about school or applying to colleges, he was there to listen. He was encouraging, constructive, and kind.
Pre Algebra through Calculus. Biology and Chemistry. ACT math and science. Sessions are built around your child's actual coursework, teachers, and pace. Not a one size fits all curriculum.
Most students don't struggle because they aren't smart. They struggle because no one has helped them see what's not working and why. I build that awareness so the shift comes from within. Once that clicks, it carries into everything — academics, sports, the things that make them stand apart.
Course planning, goal setting, and consistent parent communication. Your child builds independence and confidence. You get clarity on where they stand and where they're headed.
We meet and build a plan around your student's specific courses, goals, and challenges. No templates.
Consistent one on one sessions, in person or virtual, integrated into your student's schedule where they actually need support.
Regular updates so you always know where things stand. No surprises, no guessing.
I've spent the last 15 years working one on one with students at some of the most demanding private schools in Southern California. The families I work with don't need a homework helper. They need someone who understands the pressure these schools create and who can get to the root of what's actually holding their student back.
I don't just teach content. I help students recognize the habits and patterns that aren't serving them so the decision to change comes from them. When that shift happens, it doesn't stay in the classroom. It shows up in how they approach sports, hobbies, passion projects, and the things that make them stand apart in a competitive environment.
There's nothing more rewarding than seeing my students succeed and build the inner confidence to believe they can do anything they set their minds to. It's the reason I chose this path over pursuing medicine, and I've never looked back.
When I'm not working with students, you'll find me at the gym or somewhere in Southern California with my golden retriever, Rufus.
